Of performing in Rocky Horror's only Indiana cast, that is! Help Me Mommy (or www.helpmemommy.com) Our anniversary show is tomorrow night, and I'm performing yay! I'm actually splitting the role with Nate, another of our Franks. We're kinda tag-teaming it, so he starts off with the Sweet T scene, then every other scene we perform. And since he's starting off, I get to end the movie with Floorshow. Sweet!
Every week it seems like we never know if we'll be kicked out (low numbers, bad for morale :/) but I'm happy that we've had a good two years so far. *IF* we ever do get kicked out of that theatre, I hope as a cast we decide to stay together instead of disbanding, and try to find a new theatre to perform in.
Going to rehearsal in a few. Ugh, I'm so tired from work, but glad I got a nap in today.
Oh, and yeah, my mom's being released from the hospital tomorrow. I've got such an uber-busy weekend, it's no joke.

Well, my mom is back in the hospital -- again. I don't know if I posted it here previously, but she was in the hospital for about a week and a day because she had a scheduled surgery. She had about a food of her colon removed, because during a "routine" colonoscopy (routine, but not for her, because she never had one before), they found 7 polyps. They successfully removed 6 out of the 7; the last one was too big to remove with the scope or however they actually do it. Luckily, all polyps found were benign, though she'll have to get a colonoscopy every two years because her father had colon cancer (didn't die from it, though). Unfortunately for me, my brother and sister, we have to start getting the dreaded colonoscopy's around age 35 :/ So in this surgery she had about a foot of her colon removed. They started in the wrong area so her scar is really long. She was on Morphine pretty much the entire time except for the last two days, so needless to say she doesn't remember much of her hospital stay. I brought her to the hospital the other day to get 36 staples removed from her stomach!
ANYWAYS, my mom is in the hospital again, as stated previously. Not due to anything wrong with her surgery or anything. She decided to call 911 after calling me to say she didn't think she was "right", that she had been lightheaded and short of breath for the past two days or so. Me and the husband immediately left for the hospital, though it was a few towns away. After X-rays and a CAT scan, they found out that her right lung was 30-40% collapsed.
Spontaneous pneumothorax is what it is called. The doctor said usually only skinny and tall people get this but my mom has been a smoker all her damn life (gross!) and has Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease so yeah, that didn't help in the slightest. She had claimed she wouldn't be a smoker after her surgery, but she had started back up again. Of course again she says she will not smoke after THIS...I'm just thankful she still has insurance!
Soooo they put a tube in her chest. It was kinda neat, she demanded I be in the room to hold her hand while they inserted it. They also don't knock a person out for that, they just give local anesthetic. (Which my mom was sooo upset about, haha, because she is a nurse and knows how bad it can hurt, having assisted putting those in before). That was cool with me, I love watching that sorta medical shit. I just had to wear a face mask like the ER and Resident doctor were doing. And call me old-fashioned, but I still maintain it is awesome to see male nurses. I guess it is still a rarity for me.
Anyways, she won't be on Morphine this time around I'm sure, so she'll be more lucid. She did leave me a message earlier saying she was going to try to take a nap, but I'll be leaving in a bit to bring her some things, like magazines and her pillow and such. XD I'm very glad this shit happens when I'm NOT at work. I'd feel terrible if I were on the train...

So apparently, my nephew must love vampires -- he's getting his first teeth, and it turns out he's getting his upper canine's first! I think it is quite hilarious, whereas sparkly vampires are still not. I really hope they send pictures soon!
I'm in Carbondale, IL at the moment. We got here 30 minutes early...If only we could do that on our way towards Chicago later tonight, I'd be happy. In my previous post I mentioned the IUD I got; well, I still have nothing unusual happening in my nethers though I have noticed I've been trying to sit more straight, bending over to get things more carefully, and also not plop myself on seats, etc. I don't FEEL it inside me. I guess I'm just leary this "T" will puncture me or something, lols. Time to go read up some more on IUD's, I guess!
After I left CW, I started playing World of Warcraft again -- a LOT. And then I stopped again. The constant grinding of instances for stupid badges to gain higher level gear was annoying. So I guess I'll play once in a while, but I'm going to wait to level any new characters for when Cataclysm comes out. I'm kinda excited for that; as much as I'd love to still play Horde, the new goblin race just doesn't appeal to me. I'd much rather play the new Alliance race.
On the health front, I've been eating much healthier, than I even was before, though I'm still up around 174 pounds. Ever since shit hit the fan in May, I started gaining weight. I'm hoping to go down, but that additional weight gain makes me even more depressed about my size, though everyone swears up and down that I don't look like I weigh that much.
Le sigh.

Well, I have tubes. Copper tubes. Inserted up into my hoo-ha. In all honesty, I read up about it quite extensively and a LOT of women who have had an IUD inserted have said it was soooo bad and they cried soooo much and it hurt terribly. While I did feel faint immediately afterwards, I didn't have bad cramps at all. It rather just felt like my regular period cramps. Oh well. Lets just hope it stays in place :) Yay for no unexpected babies!
Other than that, life is going pretty well. I've also been watching a lot of SCIENCE! shows. I love this science shit.
Me and Zero just ate some Subway sandwiches and I'm contemplating going out to buy some noms from Jewel. Well, more like a few condiments and side things, like veggies. I need to make a salad to bring with me to work, tomorrow.
No more Camwhores for Veriria. Though, I'm thinking of starting to do some Youtube videos. What would I do videos of? I don't know. I'd probably just do videos to make fun of idiot customers.
Oh, I gotta say, while I was waiting to get my IUD at the OBGYN office, I was thinking of the movie Idiocracy the entire time. I wanted to bust out laughing the first time it entered my mine, because it was so ironic ;)
Veriria out. I'm going to try to post here moar.

...And not the ones you may be thinking about! Today, I woke up early and brought my husband lunch at work (Subway), then went to Curves...You know, the gym for womenz? Yeah. Anyways, I really didn't know what to expect other than it being, I don't know, a joke. Even though I know it has been around a while.
Anyways, Everyone pretty much does the same workout. Which is OK, today just to show e how they do it I did two circuits on all the machines like everyone else does. There are roughly 15 machines and inbetween each one you do cardio. Every few minutes a recording says Switch Machines, or I guess you could work out on a specific one...But that seems to me like it would throw people off if a lost of people were there, but whatever. I'm definitely going to give it a try. Its not open for more than four hours on Saturdays though, and not open at all on Sunday but whatever. It is open 7am to 8pm on weekdays so that is good enough for me.
I did sweat. Not copiously or anything, but I did feel like I got a workout. Also, there is 30 days free so that is pretty cool too. I don't really have an excuse if I don't go and try it out as well, as it is only a few blocks from our house.
Also, I gave them cards for Rocky Horror :> Awesome.
No word yet from anyone at Camwhores for getting back on the website :*(
